Hi there!
I am Ali
I’m Ali Marley, and I’ve been photographing dogs and their humans since 2014. It’s where this whole journey began for me, and I still absolutely love it.
Every dog is completely unique — their personality, their quirks, the way they look at their favourite person — and my job is simply to capture that in a way that does them justice. Not a posed, sit-still-and-smile kind of photograph. A real one. The kind that makes you laugh or cry or both when you look at it ten years from now.
Outdoor shoots for dogs and their humans
I work outdoors, at your dog’s pace, in locations that suit them. Whether they’re a bolter, a sniffer, a paddler, or a professional poser, I’ve photographed them all and I know that the best shots almost never come from asking a dog to behave.
I hear this a lot:
"My dog won't sit still for a photo"
"They won't behave or look at the camera!"
"My dog gets easily distracted, is too old, too young, is nervous"
Brilliant. Bring them anyway. Those are usually my favourite shoots.
Does any of this sound familiar to you? With my relaxed outdoor photoshoots for dogs, you don't have to worry. I specialise in taking outdoor photos of dogs being dogs and everything that makes them unique and special to you.
My goal is to celebrate your dog and everything that furry little face means to you in the exceptional way they deserve. Life can soon get the better of us and time too easily slips away, in my photographs, I capture the precious moments in life with your dog, which will last a lifetime. You can rest assured that my photography sessions are tailored specifically to you and your dog's needs.
YOUR PET COMES FIRST
so my priorities are.....
*To make shoots fun.
* To make it an experience you will all enjoy and cherish.
*To be patient, friendly, calm and relaxed.
* For your dog to be comfortable and happy.
*To tailor shoots to the needs of your dog.
*To take beautiful images that reflect your dog's personality and if you want...
*To take family portraits of you and your dog.
I’m fully insured and hold a canine first aid certificate, so your dog’s safety is always the priority. Sessions are relaxed, fun, and completely tailored to your dog’s needs. I work to their timescale, not mine.
I also love including the humans — if you want family portraits with your dog, that’s absolutely something we can do.
Awards
I was honoured to receive a Silver Award at the International Pet Photography Awards 2024 — recognition that means a huge amount to me for work that I genuinely pour my heart into.
